Inter’s Serie A clash with Juventus will be decided by the team’s forwards at their best, Italian media predict

Inter’s Serie A clash with Juventus tonight could be decided by which of Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko or Paulo Dybala and Dusan Vlahovic are in their best form.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome newspaper Corriere dello Sport, which suggests the match could come down to a duel of the two pairs of strikes depending on which ones are on target.

Each of the Nerazzurri and Bianconeri are set to start with an Argentine playing a key role in attack, in the form of Martinez and Dybala respectively.

So far this season, Martinez has scored fourteen goals in 27 league appearances while Dybala has made 21 appearances and found the back of the net eight times.

Moreover, both have scored in this game from the penalty spot already this season, Dybala in the league edition at San Siro and Martinez to equalize in the Nerazzurri’s Supercoppa Italiana victory.

Both players can be decisive on their day, and whoever looks better could become a factor in tonight’s massive one-on-one match.

Meanwhile, Dzeko and Vlahovic are career poles apart, with the experienced Bosnian having added toughness and technical class to the Nerazzurri attack this season while the Serbian has already added incisiveness in front of goal since that he joined Juventus in January.

The two players are not only opposite in experience spectrum but also stylistically, and whether Dzeko’s all-around play or Vlahovic’s nose-for-goal in the penalty area becomes more operational could decide the game.
