Sassuolo vs Atalanta 4/10/22 Serie A Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds » Sports Chat Place

Sassuolo welcomes Atalanta to the Mapei stadium during the 32nd day of the Italian Serie A. Sassuolo are a brilliant team on the attacking side, but their defense is shaky at best. Atalanta have been hot and cold all season, and they played in the Europa League earlier this week.

Sassuolo are among the best attacking teams in the league with 56 goals scored so far, but they have conceded 51 goals in 31 games which is way too many if you want to qualify for the Europa League. Berardi is Sassuolo’s best player with 14 goals and 11 assists, while Scamacca has added 13 goals. There are a few injured players at Sassuolo at the moment, while Berardi is still questionable but he should play. Until their last game, Sassuolo were unbeaten in 6 games but they couldn’t do much against Lazio last weekend. Sassuolo scored once more in this game, but they ended up losing this game 2-1. Until the end of the season, Sassuolo have to play against Milan, Napoli and Juventus, but these are the games where Sassuolo plays.

As I mentioned, Atalanta have been hot and cold all season, and they haven’t won any of their last 2 games. The good news for Atalanta is that they got a positive result in the Europa League game against Leipzig, and that was on the road. As for Serie A, Atalanta are now in 7and place with 51 points, they scored 52 goals while conceding 34 goals in 30 games. Defensively Atlanta isn’t bad as you can see, and scoring 52 goals in 30 games isn’t bad either, but Atalanta have scored nearly 100 goals in their last 2 seasons, so that’s a recoil. Next week’s Europa League fixture will show whether this season has been a hit or a miss for Atalanta, but with their inconsistencies this season, it’s hard to expect anything good. Atalanta are a good team with a lot of talent, but something is wrong with them this season.

It should be an exciting game between two strong attacking teams and two teams whose defenses haven’t been good, especially Sassuolo’s. This one is simple, I take goals here.
