Release date
We haven’t seen an official release date yet, but we still have a rough idea of when the game will arrive.
FIFA 22 was fully launched on friday 1 october 2021so if EA follows the same trend, then Friday, September 30, 2022 could be our FIFA 23 release date.
As the game goes live before that (early access/web app), we’ll likely see the new player ratings revealed in the month leading up to release.
Watch out for the return of the “Ratings Collective”, as they will no doubt be sharing their work on social media as the hype surrounding the launch grows.
Paulo Dybala (OVR 87)
Currently, Paulo Dybala is without a club, his contract at Juventus expiring, so it’s a bit of a cheat to put him at the top of the list.
However, his most likely destination appears to be Inter, so he could still be Serie A‘s best player, albeit with a different club.
Ciro Immobile (OVR 87)
Ciro Immobile had another prolific season for Lazio Lazio, golden shoe in Serie A.
Despite his consistency, EA gave him a demotion to 86 OVR in a rating update, however, we believe he will see a 87 OVR again at the start of FIFA 23.
Milan Skriniar (OVR 86)
Milan Skriniar is a wanted man, with a few clubs – including PSG and Chelsea – looking to poach him.
If he stays at Inter, he will be one of the best defenders in the league, keeping his 86 OVR Evaluation.
Wojciech Szczesny (OVR 86)
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will likely see a demotion in FIFA 23, with him already demoted to one 86 OVR in ranking updates.
It might even go down to 85 GEN after Juventus suffered another poor season.
Kalidou Koulibaly (OVR 86)
Transfer rumors have surrounded Kalidou Koulibaly for a few seasons now, however, it looks like he will stay at Napoli for at least another campaign.
His physique makes him a total FIFA beast and we expect to see that and his 86 OVR see next heading.
Romelu Lukaku (OVR 85)
After months of waiting for a return to Italy, Romelu Lukaku got his wish and returned to Inter.
A dreadful season with Chelsea will see him demoted, but he will still be one of the best players in the league.
Nicolo Barella (OVR 85)
An incredible talent with the qualities to become one of the best, Nicolo Barella is a name that will not go unnoticed in the coming years.
He is a true all-round midfielder and will likely see an improvement in his rating for 85 GEN in FIFA 23, to match his latest rating update in FIFA 22.
Lautaro Martinez (OVR 85)
One of the most exciting strikers on the continent, it’s no surprise that a number of top clubs are chasing Lautaro Martinez this summer.
A quick and prolific striker with plenty of room to grow, Inter certainly know they have a star on their hands.
Matthijs de Ligt (OVR 85)
There’s a reason top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City sniff Mattijs de Ligt, and it’s because he’s a commanding defender with the world at his feet.
While it’s not been a standout season for the Dutch dominator, de Ligt still showed his class in moments, leading us to believe his rating will remain the same in FIFA 23.
Theo Hernandez (OVR 85)
Theo Hernandez is becoming a FIFA favorite and after winning the Serie A title with Milan, he could see a slight uptick in his rating for 85 GEN.
With high-level pace, power and French nationality, he will be high on many managers’ wish list for their first Ultimate Teams.
