UEFA Last Ditch Celtic reunion fails
[ad_1]
It’s tough for the club and especially Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor who went out of their way to secure tickets for Thursday night’s showdown with Ferencvaros.
Local laws have now changed in Hungary, leaving Celtic a slim chance to have a little outside support inside the Groupama stadium – they have been pushed back every step of the way.
John Paul attended a UEFA meeting on Wednesday night and gave him one final roll of the dice on the tickets, knowing that there are already Celtic fans on the pitch in Budapest.
To no avail, JP was simply asked to deliver the message to Celtic fans NOT to come to the stadium.
Just as a little update I attended the UEFA meeting last night to see if there was any possibilities for the fans tonight but unfortunately no I was just asked to ask the fans of not attending the stadium tonight as home fans only, I’m afraid⦠sorry.

Celtic will get memories for their last away group game against Bayer Leverkusen. Tickets are on sale to those eligible to obtain one and the club will in due course advise what is required to enter the stadium in Germany.
Celtic have a rich history of following their club across Europe. It’s a shame they are locked out tonight.
