Ben Chilwell had been on fire for Chelsea since returning to the starting XI and was slowly part of a 4-man defense “model” for FPL managers.
Devastatingly for a man in the form he was in, a “partial ACL” injury by Thomas Tuchel means Chelsea left-back is ruled out for at least 6 weeks before being reassessed for needing a surgery – a decision that would end his season.
Even a few weeks during the busy holiday season means a lot of FPL Gameweeks are missed, so while we wish Ben the best in his recovery, FPL managers are now looking for a replacement for Chilwell.

The caveat about this is that I’m not going to list the obvious in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joao Cancelo – if you don’t have these two, they should be your priority transfers for Chilwell.
